Privacy Policy

Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

This Privacy Policy aims to regulate matters concerning how Tethermalls (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") collects, uses, and protects users' personal information in relation to the services provided by the Company.

  2. Information directly entered by users during the service usage process
  3. Information automatically generated during the service usage process

Article 6 (Purpose of Using Personal Information)

The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:

  4. Dispute resolution and customer support

  6. Establishment of a safe service usage environment

The Company retains users' personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of service provision, and promptly destroys it when users request service withdrawal or deletion of personal information. However, the Company may retain information for the period specified by relevant laws when preservation is necessary according to those laws.

    • Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription, etc.: 5 years
    • Records on payment and supply of goods, etc.: 5 years

  2. Information to be retained under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act:

    • Connection log records: 3 months

Chapter 3: Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties and Outsourcing of Processing

The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties in principle. However, it may exceptionally provide information in the following cases:

  3. When necessary for the fulfillment of the contract related to service provision
  4. When there is an urgent need for immediate action due to imminent danger to the user's life or safety

Article 9 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

The Company may outsource part of its personal information processing tasks to external companies when necessary for service provision. When outsourcing, the Company will disclose details such as outsourced tasks, processors, and items of personal information outsourced in this policy, and take necessary measures to ensure that personal information is managed safely.

The Company designates a personal information protection officer to handle users' complaints related to personal information protection and to protect personal information.

This Privacy Policy is effective from March 20, 2025.
